Skeletal – Bone Pain, Bone Disease, Radiological Evidence of Bone Disease
Skeletal symptoms are common in Gaucher disease and can manifest as bone disease, immobility, bone pain, painful bone crises, osteoporosis, pathologic fractures, osteonecrosis, and deformities.1-3 Skeletal symptoms can progress to the point where they cause significant infection or, where damage within the vertebrae has occurred, leading to spinal cord symptoms.3
